Brett Walker

Brett is the GM of Canada & International Operations and serves as both a director and officer of the corporation and the Collette Foundation. He has been part of the Collette team for more than 36 years. Since joining the company in 1989, he has progressed through a variety of sales and leadership roles. As Collette’s enterprise expanded in Canada and globally, Brett led the development of country operations designed to be, first and foremost, the best fit for each individual market, while also ensuring alignment and synchronization across markets. This approach has enabled Collette to remain dynamic and responsive locally, while leveraging enterprise-wide assets wherever possible.

Brett holds an MBA from the University of Guelph, an LLM from the University of Toronto, and an Advanced Executive Certificate in Strategic Execution from Queen’s University.

He is currently the Chair of the Canadian Association of Tour Operators (CATO), where he played a key role in the creation of the Travel Safe designation during COVID and, more recently, the formation of the Beyond Borders Coalition. Previously, Brett served as both a director and Vice Chair of the Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO).
